Add FXI Studio to Claude

Connect FXI Studio as a custom connector and make images, video clips and whole scenes from a Claude chat. It takes about a minute.

FXI Studio is not listed in Claude’s connector directory. You add it yourself as a custom connector, which every Claude plan supports.

Step by step

Claude on the web and desktop

Works on every Claude plan. Free plans allow one custom connector.

  1. Open Connectors

    In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Some versions show this under Settings, then Connectors. The list syncs to Claude Desktop.

  2. Add a custom connector

    Click +, choose Add custom connector, name it FXI Studio and paste the server URL. Click Add.

  3. Sign in to FXI Studio

    Click Connect and sign in to FXI Studio, or create a free account with 65 credits. You return to Claude when you finish.

  4. Use it in a chat

    Turn FXI Studio on for a chat from the + menu in the composer, then ask. For example: make a five second clip of a lighthouse at dawn.

Team and Enterprise plans

  1. An Owner adds it once

    An Owner opens Organization settings, then Connectors, and adds FXI Studio with the same server URL.

  2. Members connect

    Each member opens Connectors, clicks Connect next to FXI Studio and signs in with their own FXI Studio account.

Claude Code

  1. Add the server

    From your terminal, add FXI Studio as a remote HTTP server.

  2. Sign in

    Start Claude Code and run /mcp, then choose fxi-studio to sign in.

What you can do once Claude is connected

  • Make stills

    Describe a frame and get a cinematic image back in the chat.

  • Make video clips

    Turn a prompt or one of your stills into a short clip.

  • Chain shots

    Frame chaining starts each clip from the last frame of the one before, so motion stays continuous.

  • Compose scenes

    Hand over a brief and get a multi-shot scene planned and generated.

  • Use your characters

    Reuse the characters and images saved in your FXI Studio account.

  • Keep everything

    Every result saves to your FXI Studio library, ready to edit on the web.

Credits

New accounts start with 65 free credits, and free-plan credits refill weekly. Each generation uses credits from your FXI Studio account; the cost is checked before anything runs, and refused or failed requests are not charged. See plans and packs.

Questions

Is FXI Studio in Claude’s connector directory?
No. Add it as a custom connector instead: in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, click +, choose Add custom connector and paste https://mcp.fxi.studio/mcp. Every Claude plan supports custom connectors; free plans allow one.
What can Claude do with FXI Studio?
Once connected, Claude can make cinematic stills, make video clips, chain shots so each clip starts from the last frame of the one before, compose multi-shot scenes from a brief, and reuse the characters saved in your FXI Studio account.
