- What is a credit?
- The unit behind every render. A video take runs roughly 10 to 50 credits depending on the model. Paid plans include 1,000 to 8,000 Z-Image stills a month in Create that use no credits (they reset monthly and do not roll over; Director Mode frames use credits); on the free plan they cost 2 credits each.On Visionary, 2,500 credits for $35 a month works out to about 1.4 cents per credit.
- What if I run out mid-project?
- Top up with a credit pack, or move up a tier: the extra monthly credits land right away and Stripe prorates the price difference. Each plan also has a daily spend limit (1,000 credits on Creator, 1,500 on Visionary, 4,000 on Studio) that resets every 24 hours.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Subscription credits stay usable for 12 months after that, pack credits never expire, and your library stays yours.
- Who owns what I make?
- You do. Commercial use included on every plan: you own your outputs, subject to our Terms.
- Can I switch tiers later?
- Anytime, in either direction, from Settings. Stripe handles the switch and prorates the difference; you approve it before anything changes.
How much does FXI Studio cost?
FXI Studio is free to start with 65 credits and no credit card, and its three paid plans, The Creator, The Visionary and The Studio, cost $15, $35 and $135 a month. The First Film Pack is a one-time $5 for 200 credits. Free accounts render clips and frame-chained sequences on the draft video lane and can join them into a short cut. Any credit pack or plan unlocks the premium video models and the final-cut pass.

Is there a free plan for FXI Studio?
Yes. Every new account starts with 65 free credits, no credit card required, plus a weekly top-up of 25 credits until your free balance is back at 65. That covers about 16 images or 3 free videos (2 today, 1 more next week), enough to cut a two-shot scene.
What is included in the Creator plan?
The Creator plan is $15 per month (or $144 a year ($12/month, 20% off)) and includes 600 credits per month, 1,000 included Z-Image stills per month in Create, image-to-video generation, image editing and inpainting, character saving, Atmosphere Engine, and 4× parallel takes per prompt.
What is included in the Visionary plan?
The Visionary plan is $35 per month (or $399 a year ($33.25/month, 5% off)) and includes 2,500 credits per month, 2,000 included Z-Image stills per month in Create, everything in Creator, professional 4K upscaling (1080p to 4K), and the advanced editor with cinematic slow-motion and per-clip stabilization.
What is included in the Studio plan?
The Studio plan is $135 per month (billed monthly) and includes 10,500 credits per month, up to 8,000 included Z-Image stills per month in Create (fair-use queue on FXI compute), unused credits that roll over (up to 19,400 credits), 8× parallel takes per prompt, and priority email support with a reply within 1 business day (Monday to Friday, US Eastern, excluding US federal holidays).
Do unused credits roll over?
Unused subscription credits roll over up to a cap: 1,200 on Creator, 5,000 on Visionary, 19,400 on Studio. Credit packs never expire. A renewal tops your subscription credits up to that cap and nothing above it is added. Pack credits do not count toward the cap.
Does FXI Studio offer annual billing?
Yearly billing: The Creator is $144 a year (20% off) and The Visionary is $399 a year (5% off). The Studio is billed monthly.
What are included stills?
Paid plans include a monthly number of Z-Image Turbo stills in Create that use no credits: 1,000 on The Creator, 2,000 on The Visionary, and up to 8,000 on The Studio. They reset each monthly period (each month on annual plans) and do not roll over. On The Studio, included stills use a fair-use queue. Counted in units on FXI compute, subject to its availability: a 1080p still is 5 units, an 8-step still 2, more steps count more. Past 600 units a day, stills use credits and we show the cost first. Director Mode, other image models, upscales, and all video use credits as normal. On the free plan, Z-Image Turbo stills cost 2 credits each.
