One workspace

An all-in-one AI video studio with editing and music

By the FXI Studio team · Updated

An all-in-one AI video studio puts image and video generation, music, editing and export in one workspace, so a film never leaves the tool between steps. FXI Studio pairs one composer for images, video, music and voice with an AI director that plans shots, a built-in editor for trimming and ordering clips, and a stitched final cut.

How it works

One project runs from the first idea to an exported cut without moving files between apps.

  1. Describe the film

Tell the AI director, Bezaleel, the story in plain language. It breaks it into scenes with framing and camera moves that you adjust in conversation.

  2. Generate stills and video

Board each scene as a still, then render it as video. Pick the model per shot from one composer; the credit cost shows before you generate.

  3. Add music, voice and sound

Generate a soundtrack, a voiceover or sound effects in the same project, so the audio is made for the cut instead of found afterwards.

  4. Edit the sequence

Trim, split and reorder clips, swap takes, and chain shots by their last frames so scenes flow without hard jumps.

  5. Export the film

Stitch the final cut, or export the timeline as FCPXML to finish in a desktop editor.

What is built in, and on which plan

Generation is billed in credits on every plan. Editing is free to use; exporting the stitched film is a paid feature.

Why one workspace matters

A film made across separate tools loses time at every handoff: export, re-upload, re-describe the character, re-match the light. In one workspace the same character references, the same approved stills and the same project carry from the first shot to the export.

It also keeps continuity honest. Shots are chained by their real last frames, so the edit is assembling motion that already flows, not hiding jumps with transitions. See how to frame chain AI video shots for the exact workflow.

Music and sound made for the cut

Music, voiceover and sound effects are generated inside the project from a text brief, so you can score a scene to its length and mood. Some video models also render dialogue and ambience with the picture.

To see a whole short made this way, from character sheet to soundtrack, read making an AI short film with consistent characters, or a song-led piece in the AI music video guide.

Frequently asked questions

What is an all-in-one AI video studio?

A single workspace that generates images and video, adds music, voice and sound, and edits and exports the result, so you never move files between apps. FXI Studio adds an AI director that plans the shots.

Can I add music to AI video in the same tool?

Yes. FXI Studio generates music, voiceover and sound effects from a text brief in the same project as the video, and each generation shows its credit cost before it runs.

Does FXI Studio have a video editor?

Yes. Trimming, splitting and reordering clips works on every plan, and every clip stays downloadable. Exporting the stitched film, and the multi-track Edit Bay timeline, start on the Creator plan.

Can I finish the edit in a desktop editor?

Yes. Edit Bay exports the timeline as FCPXML with its media, which opens in DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro. The export itself costs no credits.

Can I use several AI video models in one project?

Yes. Pick the model per shot from one composer: a fast model for drafts, a reference-to-video model for characters in motion, a first-and-last-frame model for transitions. The credit cost of each shows before you generate.

Is it free to try?

Yes. Every new account gets 65 free credits with no credit card, about 16 images or 3 free videos (2 today, 1 more next week), plus 25 more credits each week until the free balance is back at 65. Paid plans are $15, $35 and $135 a month.
