How do you make a launch video for your product with AI?

The short answer
Plan the launch as four to six short shots, generate a clean hero still of the product, animate each shot from an approved frame, chain the shots so the camera move carries across cuts, then add your logo and on-screen copy in the edit. FXI Studio runs the planning, stills, video and cut in one browser workspace.
TL;DR
A good AI launch video is directed, not prompted. Lock the product look in a still first, animate from that frame so the product does not drift, and keep words and logos out of the generated frames: add them last, where they stay sharp.
Example film
Same Director workflow on a short montage. Not a product ad.
Plan the cut before you generate anything
Launch videos follow a short, familiar shape: a hook that shows the problem or the mood, the product revealed, one or two moments of it in use, and an end card with the name and a call to action. Write that as four to six shots of three to six seconds each.
In FXI Studio you can describe the launch in a line or two in Director Mode and Bezaleel drafts the shot list, or write the shots yourself. Either way you approve the plan before spending video credits.
Lock the product in a still, then animate from that frame
The most common failure is a product that changes shape or color from shot to shot. The fix is to generate a hero still first, on a clean set with controlled light, and use that exact image as the first frame of the video. The model then animates the product you approved instead of inventing a new one.
If you have real product photos, use them as the reference or starting frame. Generated imagery is best for the world around the product: the set, the light, the motion.
Chain the shots so the move carries through
Frame chaining feeds the last frame of one clip into the next clip as its first frame. For a launch video that means a push-in on the product can flow into the next beat without a jump, which reads as one confident camera move rather than a slideshow of clips.
Add words and logos in the edit, not the prompt
Text rendered inside generated frames is unreliable: letters warp and brand marks come out wrong. Keep names, prices and logos out of the prompts, leave clean space in the frame, and add the typography and logo lockup last in the editor you finish in.
Only generate imagery of products and brands you own or have rights to, and keep real people out of it unless you have their consent.
What it costs
A launch cut of four to six shots is four to six video takes, each roughly 10 to 50 credits depending on the model and length, plus a few stills. Commercial use needs a paid plan: every paid plan includes a full commercial license, and the free tier is for personal use only.
New accounts start with 65 free credits and no credit card, about 16 images or 2 short video clips, plus 22 more credits each week until the free balance is back at 65.
Step by step
How to make a product launch video with FXI Studio
- 1Write the shot list
Plan four to six shots: hook, reveal, product in use, end card. Or describe the launch in Director Mode and let Bezaleel draft it.
- 2Generate the hero still
Create a clean still of the product on a controlled set, or start from your own product photo. Approve the look.
- 3Animate from the approved frame
Render each shot as video using the approved still as its first frame so the product does not drift.
- 4Chain the shots
Feed the last frame of each clip into the next so the camera move carries across the cut.
- 5Add copy, logo and music
Stitch the clips, then add your wordmark, on-screen copy and music in the edit, and export for each placement.
Frequently asked questions
Can AI make a product launch video?
Yes. The reliable method is shot by shot: plan four to six shots, lock the product in an approved still, animate from that frame, chain the shots, and add text and logo in the edit.
Can I put my logo and text in the AI video?
Add them in the edit. Text and logos rendered inside generated frames often warp, so keep them out of the prompt and overlay them afterwards where they stay sharp and on brand.
How long should a launch video be?
Fifteen to thirty seconds covers most launch placements. That is four to six shots of three to six seconds each, which also keeps the credit cost predictable.
Can I use the video commercially?
Yes, on a paid plan. Every paid plan includes a full commercial license; the free tier is for personal use only.
Is there a published FXI launch video example?
Not yet as a product ad. The example film linked on this page shows the same Director workflow on a short montage, with its full prompts, so you can see how shots are planned and rendered.
