Speed, cost and success rate, measured on 787 real production jobs.
Across 337 AI video jobs FXI Studio ran between June 28, 2026 and September 26, 2026, MiniMax H3 Turbo was the fastest model (median 7 s, n=30) and Grok Imagine Video the most reliable (100% success, n=45). Seedance-family models were the slowest and failed most often (66.7% success across 48 jobs), mostly on the model's own content and copyright checks. Most runs in this window came from FXI's own production and QA work; all figures are measured job outcomes.

Sorted by volume. Price is FXI’s current list price for a 5-second clip; USD uses the Creator plan rate ($0.025 per credit; Studio works out to $0.016). Success shows the rate and its 95% interval, because small samples deserve wide error bars.

Seedance 2.5 is priced at 190 credits per 5-second clip. It is reserved for an optional, approved final-cut pass on Director films, so it has no production runs yet in this window.
Key findings
MiniMax H3 Turbo is the fastest video model we run: median 7 s, p90 12 s across 30 jobs, and the cheapest at 10 credits a clip. That makes it the right tool for blocking ideas, not finishing them.
P-Video carried the most volume (105 jobs) and finished 96.2% of them at a median of 16 s. That speed is why it handles utility transitions; for story scenes, Director films draft in Seedance 2.0 Mini instead.
Seedance failures are mostly policy, not outages. 12 of 16 failed Seedance jobs were rejected by the model’s own content and copyright checks, most often on generated audio. Success across the family was 66.7% (32/48).
Quality costs minutes. Seedance 2.0 had the slowest median at 4 min 57 s, with a p90 of 10 min 39 s. Budget for it: a six-shot film on the slowest model is a coffee break, not a click.
FLUX 3 Video · Draft is cheap but patient. At 15 credits a 5-second clip it is among the lowest prices here, but it took a median 3 min 9 s, and 7 of its 8 failures were jobs that never came back within an hour.
Stills are the reliable layer. Z-Image Turbo finished 98.5% of 199 images at a median 20 s across 25 accounts. Iterate on stills, lock the frame, then spend video credits once.
