Definition
A seed is the number that sets the random starting point of an AI generation. Reusing the same seed with the same prompt and settings reproduces the same result, while changing the seed explores a different variation. It is the control that turns a random process into a repeatable one.
How it works in FXI Studio
In FXI Studio, fixing a seed is how you iterate deliberately: hold the seed and change one word to see what that word does, rather than rerolling the entire image and losing the version you liked.
